Paranioa and some trust issues

Filed under: My Life — happychick @ 6.38p06

Quite a bit of news today-

– I showed Maco and Pete my blog, purely to stop them nagging me for the site. I still don't know whether or not I'll regret it. They said that they wouldn't read it again, but you know boys. And me? Well, I'm certainly not going to censor what I say. The only thing I worry about is, well, the person I am here, the real me, isn't the same as the person I portray to the outside world. And I don't want to ruin my relationship with Pete because he reads this and sees a girl he doesn't know. 😐 He read the "choking me with his tongue" bit too, and I think it really upset him. Either way, I hope that they keep their promise and don't read up on me again.

– I saw the grossest thing today- Clare and Corey, a couple at my school, were making out in public. I have a big thing about public snogs, but what made it worse was that they were eating each others' faces. I felt physically ill.

– The puppies have grown huge, and are going fucking mental. I'm seriuos- I'm never having kids if they are half this amount of work. 🙂

  1. well hon, all i can say is if Pete’s real into you then he’d make an effort in knowing the real you. the person he saw when he read your blog. if he’s being an ass about it, then i think it’s time to think twice…

  2. Those guys are gonna read every freaking thing you write.

Dogs don’t know HOW to be as much work as children. And THAT’s the truth!

  3. My personal rule is a bit schizophrenic. In terms of choosing what to write and how to say it, I imagine everyone in the world, every single person I’ve ever met, is reading my blog. To avoid flattering myself with a pretended audience that isn’t there, I assume no one’s reading.

Both of those lead to some fun surprises, like when my cousin told me recently she was an avid reader of my blog, even though she doesn’t comment (I haven’t seen her for years). Or when both my wife and my mom fessed up that they never read it …

Anyway, I agree with jcoftw. Assume they’ll read.

  5. There’s an upside to this, Pete will think about how he’s kissing you.
