My friends- My real friends

Filed under: My Life — happychick @ 6.38p05

Sandra- you need to tell me how to post pictures(don't get excited folks, pics of Happychick are strictly taboo on this site- they'll end up being cute little cartoons I find on the net). But anyway, you need to teach me!!!

LMFAO! As much as I like to portray myself as a fun-loving, friendly chick, I've realised that I can count my true friends on my fingers.

First, there's Tahny- I've known here since before I was born. Our parents were majorly close, so I'd've had to like her even if we weren't born twins 🙂 I can tell her absolutely everything. And anything. Nothing is taboo between us, and even though I havent seen her for years, she will always be my best friend.

Then there's Nush- I've known her since we were 11, and even though she is the single most immature person I've ever met, I admire her for being so unique. She could not care less about what people think, boys, make-up and TV- she's just so much of a nutjob that I am intrigued by the very thought of her. 🙂 She is my opposite friend

Andy- he's the single kindest person I have ever met. He's a major gentle giant. Everything he says is like the funniest thing in the world, and I've never met a better listener. He's my guy-friend

Pete- is my bag. By bag, I mean, I take him everywhere, I dump all my lag on him when I'm pissed, and really (as awful as it sounds), he's sort-of only there to look good and for me to sit on when there's no chairs. 😆 No, kidding. He makes me happy. Being around him makes me feel special, and worth something. He could do so much better, but he chose me. Pete's my (current) boyfriend

Christy- Is my mirror. My other half, if you like. We are so alike it scares us, we always say the same things, and never fight because we always know what the other is thinking. I met her at just the right time, and we have held each other up the past few months, through the trials of moving, dating and parents. She is my twin

BJ- She was there for me, and I for her, when I first moved schools. We help each other with work, laugh at others in our form, and overall, we are friends, not because we like each other that much, but because we are the only ones for each other, and therefore, we have to. She is my In-Class Buddy

Mr. Macedonia- MM is a champ. I can think of three or four things I hate about each friend previously mentioned, but, when it comes to MM, I am stumped. I cannot find anything I dislike about the guy. He makes me laugh. He's always joking, and then, at the most un-serious time, he becomes sensible and kinda tense. It hilarious. He's my funny friend

So thats it. 7 friends. How depressing is that? Sure, friendship is a very strong word, but 7? LOL. I wouldn't trade these 7 for 100 strangers. Not for the world. xx chick

  2. Posting pics. You really need The Bastard for this one, and I’m sure he’ll correct me if I’m wrong. He is the one that taught me from a gillion miles away.

First I retrieve the pic I want to post. I have ACD system for pictures. There is a photo canvas where I can cut out anything that I don’t want in the picture. Also a resizing tool. The resizing is important. The size you see is what will be what you see on your post. Then I save it to my desktop. When you are in your “write post” area, right below that is a “browse” button. Click on that and it will lead you to sections of your computer. Click on desktop and click on the pic you want to post. Then click on the upload button. You picture will appear in the bottom section. Click and drag it to your post. Tada you have your pic/cartoon whatever on your post!

  3. Very good instruction Mom.

Chick, I am VERY particular about who I call friend. As a result, I don’t have many. The ones I do have, however, I would gladly give my life for. I liken friendships to a game of poker; keep the high cards and keep ’em close to your chest(heart).
