iPod mania-Maco’s a champ…

Filed under: My Life — happychick @ 6.38p05

I wonder sometimes- how did I ever live without my iPod? I had to leave it at home on charge today (lol- Stupid me forgot to charge it), and I felt so bloody- naked without it. 😐 I felt awkward all the way to the bus stop, then I had to face the task of forcing conversation with Pete all the way to school. All through class I had nothing to preoccupy me from the teachers' droning voice (not that I wasn't doing all I could to take in what she said), ad the naked feeling once again on the ride home. 😦

I guess that's the problem with getting new things- once you have them, you depend on them, then you need more things that you previously lived without.

Mr. Maco is in a program at school(I call it dumbass class, though I'm not sure it's the correct term.) Anyway, it's for kids who, though they have brains, are too lazy to bother. So what does this program entail? More time off work. It's bullcrap. They're lazy, so lets give them more of an incentive to be so! They get to go on luncheons, to the radio station, play sports, etc.

So, today, when Mr.Maco was off at his program, a lady came in, demanding Peter (Mr. M's bestie), Bj and I go with her. I was freaking out- some random lady? We were bound to be in trouble. But, to my surprise(and delight), upon our arrival, Mr.Maco proclaimed "invitation!" The guy had invited us to his 'dumbass class' outing. It was wicked. Us four, plus 8 or nine others, went out onto the oval and played "team-building games". It was awesome. We had so much fun. Sure, it was a little childish, but hey, I got off 2 hours of school- English and Science, at that. πŸ™‚

Gotta love the good things…xx chick

  1. I’m liking your positive outlook happychick, celebrating the little things is a great way to stay happy. Mind you, I find it a little funny that you were mortified at having to talk to a human because you didn’t have your ipod to shield you from the world! πŸ™‚

No shit! I can’t imagine living without my computer. I have actually left the house, got well into the trip to work, turned around and came BACK to the house because I left my CELL PHONE on the charger!
