The type of person I would like to be.

Filed under: My Life — happychick @ 6.38p04

I am sitting here at my computer, watching my older brothers heartlessly make fun of deaf-blind people, and thinking about the type of person I would like to be.

I want to be the type of person who performs a selfess act of kindness every day, purely to make another person smile.

I want to be the type of person who is asked for their opinion on serious topics- and always gives the right answer.

I want to be the type of person who, when they die, is talked about as "bubbly and fun", not "selfish and dull".

I want to be the kind person, the funny person- the perfect, yet visably flawed person.

But somewhere, deep inside, I know-

that person will never be me.

  1. Oh, you are so wrong. You will, dear person, become the one for whom you strive. It is within you to demonstrate these lofty human qualities. Go for it. Have faith. We are depending on you.

    Blessings,

  2. If you are thinking those things then you already are that kind of person. Out of the mouth comes the wealth of the heart. When I die, I want people to say that the world was a better place because I was in it.

  6. “When I die, I want people to say that the world was a better place because I was in it.”

It’ll be more like “God, that woman was a royal pain in the ass, but I love her very much and my life will be so much poorer without her. Or maybe “put her ass in the garden and she’ll be handy to talk to, and for the first time ever she’ll let me get a word in edgewise.” Love you mom! 😀

  7. Or…I wonder if she gave that alligator indigestion. You know that is the Bastard Jr’s solution to my aging problems. Flat shovel in the face, burlap bag, bayou. Probably my fault as I said ….”If I ever get like your Grand-bastardette, just shoot me.”
