Farewell, my Oasis-loving freak…

Filed under: My Life — happychick @ 6.38p04

School Holidays started the other day. I am terribly excited, and rightly so, as I am visiting my old city next week.
My best guy-friend, Andrew, who lives there, is moving back to England in August, so I am getting prepared for a very teary goodbye. So anyway, I thought{my genius side coming through}, that, in his honour, I would write a little goodbye note.

Andy! I can’t believe you are doing this to me!!! After all we’ve been through, you’re leaving me for England! England- of all places. Now, call me a hypocrit because I moved here and left you hanging, but at least it’s not on the other side of the world! But, whether or not I get angry and frustrated and throw things round the room, you’re leaving. So, when I come back to see you next week, I expect a hug, an apology and a box of tissues, teamed with some chocolate, please.
And when I’m rich and famous you can come to my movie premier, and say “OMG. She was my best friend in high-school!” and give exclusive interviews to the press about how popular{cough} and friendly{splutter} I was back in those days.
You are my rock. I love you for it. We are gonna miss you immensely. And you know what? All 3 of us, the “originals” {excluding that traitor Thomas} are going to be split up, but still remain friends till the end.
Goodbye. Love you.

  1. Never say goodbye – just “see you later”. God puts people in our path to help us on our journey. He doesn’t take away anyone forever that we need to keep us on the path.

  3. Ash, I hate saying goodbye and especially to those who I care about like you. It’s going to be hard keeping contact whne I move but that doesn’t haev to mean we will grow out of touch. No matter where we are I always want to be able to be your mate. You’re one of the best friends I’ve had and am going to miss you loads. I wish you all the best and hope one day we will see each other again in person.
    Andy
PS. James is the oasis loving freak 😉
